The Stingers travel to Ohio for a rematch of week 1. We're going into hostile territory and we're looking for revenge.
I think if the team gets a few practices under its belt and works on their blocking, we'll be able to win this game and show the Marshals that week 1 was just a fluke!

I thought the next game was against Atlanta? Oh well.
I really do think that with a few practices, the Stingers will do pretty well. Having Brandon Sims leading your offense is a coaches dream. I couldn't believe how good that guy was during the past game.

Ncxc, I was just getting ready to post that same info.
Looks like the Marshals had our number for the second game in a row. 31-19 defeat in Ohio.
I'm hoping this is an issue with the lack of practice time our guys have had as a team, and that they'll start coming together soon. It's got to be tough to play as a team when you haven't had much chance to PRACTICE as a team. I have faith in the coaching staff though, they'll turn it around.

How many times a week are they practicing? My feeling is that if you are going to say you're a pro football team, then act like it. To me, that means practicing 5 days a week, reviewing game film, preparing a game plan. Pretty much anything less than that is semi-pro at best. Nothing against the Stingers players or coaches, they are having to deal with the set of cards that they are dealt. If you go to the OSC message board, the forums are filled with how the league is run as a whole. this includes many teams not having turf or equipment and some have yet to really practice. I don't mean to throw gas on a fire, but the people posting those messages are folks that are in the know and want to see indivdual teams and the league do well. It would appear though that the NIFL has put itself in a position to fail and that would be too bad for the Stingers.

I've never gotten the impression that the people who post on OSC want the league to perform well. They seem more on the lines of those who slow down on the interstate to see a really bad wreck...then call their best buddy about it at the same time.
I do hope that the fans support the Stingers well enough that if the NIFL folds this year, that the team will look to seek membership in another league.
Though, lets not get caught up in negative feelings. The Stingers will be back in town next Saturday, so lets support them there and hope for a win!
