This was forwarded to me from Wendi with the Stingers. Sounds like a worthy cause:
Hello! My name is Renée Strusinski, and I am writing to you on behalf of a group of students from USC. We are in a class called Professional Development, and have been given an assignment to raise money for a charity here in town. Our group has chosen to help the Ray Tanner Foundation (for disadvantaged children)http://www.coachingcharities.com/Tanner.html, by having a benefit dinner at the Blue Marlin, on March 26th. The owner of Blue Marlin, Jim Beech, has agreed to donate 10% of the restaurants' sales to the Ray Tanner Foundation that night. Guests that night will have the chance to meet USC baseball alumni, as well as the Columbia Stingers' very own cheerleaders, the Honeybees.
