What...
Haven't we already been discussing the conflict of interest with this team regarding a coach playing ahead of his players?
Really, QB? Come on...

I understand where you're coming from NC.....really I do. I'm not trying to explain it, just passing it along.

Several questions arise regarding Corey Miller playing on Saturday. 1. will there be a field? 2. will there be a team? 3. will the players be paid?
Maybe the Stingers management (who ever they are) should try actually playing scheduled games and then using gimmicks like having a player who is way past his prime disgrace his good name by attempting to play. You would think that USC would have chosen better company than this in their first attempt at supporting pro sports in Columbia. And another question. Will Corey Miller be paid as a coach, player, both or at all?

i think the man loves the game and is in his last ditch effort to try to pack the stands and win a game. heres the problem...i think he can still play the game, but he is a coach putting himself in over other players (conflict waiting to happen), players are gonna view him as trying to be "mr. it." second he is gonna play qb and lb.....dude this is a fast paced game, the guy is in awesome shape, but no way he will be able to play effectively on both sides for 4 qtrs. what does it say about the stingers? are the players walking away, and coach miller has to "carry the load?" no offense to the coach...but this is a poor attempt to try to cover up the chaos in columbia.

i think the director for the colonial center may be kicking himself in the rear for believing pewonski and the nifl......somebody may lose a job, but on the other hand, probably not, but i bet if this team folds.....it will be VERY DIFFICULT to get another indoor/arena team in columbia.

I doubt that Miller WILL be playing every position throughout the game, nor do I think he'll be the ironman all night long.
I think he's going to sub in for some plays here and there, maybe even an entire quarter, but he's GOT to be smart enough not to play 4 quarters of ball on both sides.

Have you guys seen Corey Miller?
The guy is HUGE, experienceed and is going to put a "beat down" so bad on the Green Cove Lions they ain't going to know what him 'em.
This is the guys that filled the shoes of Lawerence Taylor for crying out loud.
Corey Miller will smoke those guys on Saturday and show the fans who really dominates the fields.
Go Coach Miller and Go Stingers!

I really don't know the story behind this move. I don't think he HAS to play personally. If you're any kind of a fan of the NHL, you'll know that coaches and owners play the game all the time. It may not be too bad of a thing.
Corey is a former NFL player. 100 yard field, 11 man team, etc etc. Maybe this experience will help him to figure out where the kinks are in the team and get them corrected. I really don't know.

Time will tell I guess.
From what I've learned, this team (management/coaching staff) is here to be SUCCESSFUL.....
